She knows you were in the Oz army and spent time in the 'Funny Farm' - knows that means VN but can't really relate the meaning !
Also knows that you had the same 'unfortunate' habit of falling out of aircraft - -same same me.
NOW - she wants to know if ALL the OZ army people are crazy - or just a select few ???
Also says that she can't take my word for it because I went paragliding several times up into the mountains for a few hours to get some air time in. ( town of Dalat ) Really great views - but a bit tame.
By far the best rides are over the highlands. In the north, the hill Hoa Binh province near Hanoi has gained a reputation among paragliders - - - PURE MAGIC FLYING UP AND DOWN THE VALLEYS !!!
Of course, as soon as my 'BETTER HALF' found out about that - - it was promptly added to the ' TOTALLY BANNED LIST '
PLEASE tell her that it's a bit like an addictive drug that once we get 'hooked' - we can never really get it out of our systems - - but it's perfectly normal and completely harmless !!!
