Has there been a change to the site, every day this week I have had to log in, haven't had to in the past just click on the shortcut.

So at what age does this "old enough to know better" kick in?

My "auto" log in comes and goes, as does my e.mail notification for new posts.  I've never found the cause and I've  learned to live with it.   It's hardly the end of the world.

Just like the little OzSTOC image on the browser tab.  I've only ever seen it once.  The rest of the time (like now) I just see the "Simple Machines" balance icon.
If we all just ran Apples or Microsoft and just used their proprietary software, the programmers would have an easier job.  But with IE, Chrome, Safari, Opera, Firefox, Android etc all doing things slightly differently there's no hope of everything working for everyone all the time.
And if there was only MS and IE, we'd be in even deeper doo-doo.

edit for typo

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Using Firefox and Chrome no dramas here....  As Brock said, either your browser has done an update or your cache / cookies has been wiped...
this happened to me yesterday that i had to log back in when using Firefox but my chrome session was still open and logged in fine...

I use google chrome and it remembers the login.  Security settings may be set up too much on the safe side.
