I've just discovered more in Bubbler.

If you press the Bubbler icon in the centre of the screen

You get this screen

Pressing one of the icons or custom message will place a marker on spotwalla with your status. e.g OK, Fuel, Food etc.

If you've set up a phone number under SMS in settings and told it which buttons are allowed to send texts, then when you send the status message to Spotwalla it also sends an SMS.

I think I'll have to play with it next RTE.
Cheers,
Gary

A bit useless with vodafone given the lack of coverage.
Ideal for the proper satellite spot item  ;-*

Stimpy, if you get a chance, make sure you do the ride from Port Augusta, up the Pichi Richi Pass to Quorn.  I rate it as one of the best and most scenic rides in SA.   ++

I am perched on the upstairs verandah of the Streaky Bay hotel overlooking the jetty now.
Room number 1 - i reckon it would rival Saaz's favourite spot at Urunga....just beautiful.
Arrived here via Ceduna....just a nice day.
Time to get changed and pop downstairs to the bar to wash the bugs off  ;-*  :beer

There's a fantastic "old world" cafe at the corner of First and Seventh St, Quorn.    It would be a good sport for monring tea before the return run back down Pichi Richi.

It was also another of Saaz's favourite stopovers . . . In fact we stayed there on the way to the Border Run July 2015 . . Sadly his very last ride.

Sitting in Hindley st in the adelaide cbd having a cold coopers and watching the flotsam & jetsom parade past.
Had planned to keep on chugging through from Port Lincoln to
Mt Gambier but decided to pull the pin and wander around the city a bit.
I will aim for the GOR tommorrow unless plans change overnight  ;-*

Going to stay at the same pub at Mt Gambier that we stayed at on the return trip from Nat Rally  :think1

Remember not to leave your riding jacket on the lounge downstairs this time though  :rofl :crackup

Adelaide to Portland via Bordertown, Horsham,Great Western for a quick visit to the Seppelt winery estate (no port:left empty handed)
Ararat,Dunkeld,Hamilton & Heywood.
Copped alot of weird looks but no waves from fellow car travellers but did get plenty of waves from other motorcyclist's - the complete opposite of what i experienced in South Australia from both car & bike travellers.Strange.I even got waves from patched members  :o
Anyways, will do the GOR tommorrow then maybe over the ferry to P.I to possibly prop in Mudbourne for the evening  :grin

It may well be a geographical thing with the waving  & 1 finger wagging thing. It might be the relative isolation ?
From Cobar over to Broken Hill then down to port augusta i was getting the friendly acknowledgement from cars & trucks in horrible weather conditions even though i was unable to respond for various reasons.
Everywhere from port augusta to ceduna & back through streaky bay port lincoln & PA again was the same.Friendly folk.
That's my observations anyway.....

Waving or similar is sort of normal for Eyre Peninsula except for maybe Port Augusta to Whyalla - oh!!! and crossing the Nullarbor as well.

Very cold start to a very short day.
According to Sabie this trip has turned into one long pub crawl.
