Long Weekend ride to Shoalhaven area
« on: October 08, 2012, 07:49:49 PM »
Hi All

As promised a quick run down on our ride to the Shoalhaven region with my mate Bruce (Ozstoc name Bruce B).
The ride down on friday arfternoon was interesting in the 55kph winds to say the least, still trying to get use to my baby's ways.

Over the next few days we road some of the great roads in the region, up through Shoalhaven Heads, Berry, Kangaroo Valley and all around Jarvis Bay.

A Great weekend in all, here are a few pics.

A good ride to get familiar with the bike.  Have to look at the members map for some ideas for RTEs down that way.

Fellers, I know the roads you would have travelled and they are very picturesque.   :hatwave
Glad to hear you had a great time barring those winds.

How nice is that 1100 in Silver. Can't say I've seen a silver one before. Is that standard paint Beefa?
Getting wind in my hair while I still have some.

Silver is a standard Honda colour, but only in some years. They are not very common, just like the Gold ones.  I haven't seen many of either in flesh myself, so probably even less common in Australia

Looks like you had a great time, thanks for sharing :hatwave

The silver ST1100 is a great looking bike. I had one before I upgraded to the ST1300. :grin
In 1990 the ST1100 was available in black or silver as standard.

My old ST1100:

Hi Shiney

She was a beautiful 1100
Mine needs a little TLC to look that good but I've got lots of time :thumbsup.
