OZSTOC Victorian Xmas RTE

The Vic XMAS RTE
I fuelled up and headed out at around 8.30am on my way to meet up with the guys Dickie (Greencan) Adam (AJ1300) Mick (MickS) and Stewie (Breharna) at high street Ballan for a Saturday cruise around central Victoria.

It seems we all got there around the same time and sat down for the obligatory coffee and a quick chat before heading off from Ballan over the western freeway bridge and onto Daylesford.

The temperature was hovering nicely around 24 degrees.

After I switched on the trusty Go-Pro we were on our way to adventure town.

OZSTOC RTE Victoria.

We hit the major traffic jam that is high street Daylesford, and quickly moved passed and headed for Trentham…

After a minor glitch with my internal tom tom. We were back on track and into Treantham and onto Blackwood.

We arrived at the Blackwood pub around 11.30am and discovered the hotel didn't open until 12.00 so we shot the breeze until we could enter, order, and consume…

After much chats were had, we decided to push onto Trentham Red Beard Bakery

After a cool drink we heading our separate ways Dickie Adam and Stewie headed off to Woodend and back down the Calder. Mick and I headed back to Daylesford where we passed a random 1100  in the opposite direction, we then parted company where MIck navigated the main street and I headed to Hepburn Springs and then onto Newstead where the temperature  started raising slowly….until I got home and looked at the temp read out.

All in all a Great Day had by all...

Had a great ride, thanks to Marcus, Mick,Stewie and Dickie for making the effort in the hot windy day. The ride to Ballan was quite windy but after a pie and coffee and meet the other guys it was off into the bush where it was nice temp. Had a good ride to the pub at Blackwood wher we had to wait for the pub to open.
Pull out the Vic flag and put it on display. It was that  :H I had to take my pants off . Well ok not really, just a bit of fun. Hung the flag up then noticed it was above the 2 , 1100  :|||| :||||. Sorry Stewie,Marcus we will have to make up for it on the next RTE in Jan. After the pub we rode to Tretham for a cuppa and learnt how Dickie polishes the floor :eek :thumb :|||| :-++ I liked his thinking.
It was great to meet you guys I had a great time, thanks.
We were 35 degrees when we got back to Sunbury. You win Marcus 42.  :H :H :H
Cheers Adam

What a great day.  Never met any of you guys before, then next thing AJay drops his pants  :butt  outside the pub and holds the OZSTOC flag.  AJay, you scared me for life   :eek     Ha ha.

The look on the old women inside the pub watching was priceless.....

Great bunch of guys, with a wealth of experiences and knowledge between you all.  Looking forward to catching up on the next RTE.

The sooner the better.
