Hello All,
Well it has been a fun long day, and my first OzSTOC event that i have attended in a cage.....
Even had to bring along my trusty side kick (My Daughter)
So first thing this morning it was packing the van:
BBQ, Gas Bottle, Chairs, Tables, Mini Cricket Set, Eskies
then it was off the the butcher for Snags, Rissoles, Steak, Shop for Onion, Eggs, & a carton of Water (it was going to be warm today)
then we hit the road from toowoomba to New Farm in Brisbane, took us around 2 hours, very uneventful in the Van i tell you, Diesel was there waiting for us, so it was to set everything up before everyone got there, We where quickly discovering parking was an issue, as in it was pistols at dawn just to get one, we had to park illegally just to get everything unloaded!
But No real issue, the troops started to arrive, and full of cheek and laughter
of course we even had an extra guest that diesel was not a fan of, but my daughter just loved!
Food was Cooked and served:
We presented Tipsy with the QLD OzSTOC flag for him to take around to all the events he attends
then of course the mandatory Group Photo 16 smiling OzSTOC faces
then it was clean up, pack up, and time to go home.
A Big thank you to everyone who attended, who brought nibbles, and salads and extra food, and to my BBQ offsider TJ who was the master in charge of Onion cutting.
Bring on the next event!
cheers
Streak
