Bridgestone BT021 is toast
« on: October 23, 2012, 04:33:59 PM »
The 'bargain' BT021 I bought locally for $50 is totally gone at 7000kms, so not much of a bargain at all.  The Border run basically killed it.  It looks like I used it on track days as the side tread is really worn.  I now know why Bridgestone replaced it with the BT023 - all the reviews about it not being that great were correct.

Next up a set of Michelin PR2s in 110/80-18 front and 170/60-17 rear.  To be worth in $$ wise comapred to the Shinkos I have been using I will have to get around 24,000kms out of them, which I would have thought totally impossible a few years ago. Stay tuned.

I get 12 000k from the BT023's. I also find they stick to the road like poop to a blanket, makes for much fun.

I have 14000 Ks on my 023s, but the rear has grown a hole.
