The new intercoms arrived today. With Robe RTE coming up in two weeks I guess they'll get tested.

Sometime over the weekend I'll charge up the units and go through the BT pairing and add our phones and the Rider 450 in.



A readable English manual which isn't common for imported products



US chargers included so I will need to use one of our travel adapters. Our previous generic set never had these.





Two of everything including spares for the speakers, screws for the mounts and sticky helmet mounts

All set up and ok to use.

Tested each of our intercoms to make sure the intercoms answered our phones ok.

Made sure intercoms talked to each other.

The TomTom Rider links in ok with mine but doesn't answer the phone automatically. One needs to accept or reject the call by touching a screen icon. When the phone connects to the GPS it loads the contact list so you can make calls from the GPS.

Tried playing music from the phone while going to and from the shop and the music wasn't that loud and was using phone speaker. Setting in the phone had to be changed so that the intercom handled the music only leaving the GPS to handle the phone. Also order of connection seems to be important. GPS to headset first then the phone so the phone connects to both at the same time.

Have to take Heather To Jamestown On Tuesday so testing at highway speed can take place.

Voice instruction for the GPS just about blew my eardrums out the first time it was tested.

So Alan,
How are they performing? Are you happy with them considering cost to value? I have the Seena's and sometimes wonder if it was way more expensive than required.
