Rear Tyre Replacement

(1/3) > >>

ruSTynutz:
Hi all, just wondering if I could get some advice...

This is the first time I've taken the rear wheel off my ST since I bought it and, being a bit of a mug when it comes to mechanical stuff, I was wondering if I need to take the final drive flange off the wheel when I take it in to get a new tyre fitted?

Thanks!  :beer

Jdbiker:
No need to to remove anything, just protect the disc while transporting, I wrap some cardboard around it.

ruSTynutz:
Thanks for that, Jonathon...much appreciated!  :thumbs

Was just looking at the rear brake pads, it's looking like they need replacing soon too...bugger!

CallMeSteve:
Whenever I transport my rear wheel to the tyre shop I make sure that all the necessary bits are protected by leaving it attached to the bike.   :grin

I'd probably do that too if I wasn't such a tight a*se!  :rofl
Seriously though, I don't think I'd trust any of the bike shops around here to do the job properly.
