RTE Renner Springs - 11 October 2015

So I was telling Danae about raising a glass to Saaz next Sunday. I suggested we should go for a ride somewhere to have lunch, thinking somewhere local. Danae says "can we go to where we met John last year?"
Where we met him was the Renner Springs overnighter. I explained to her that to be there for 1.30pm, we would need to leaver here by 5am, and we would be on the bike for 16 hours. She still wants to do it!

So, now I'm planning a SS1600, timed to be in Renner Springs to coincide with the Perth get together.   Plan is really simple, start at the servo around the corner from home for the start docket, into Darwin city for a corner docket, then on the road. Fuel and coffee at Katherine, fuel at Daly Waters, lubch at Renner Springs, then refuel at Elliott, Mataramka and Katherine on tge way home. Should be home for a late dinner.

One problem, I went the wrong way with time zones. We'll still aim to get to Renner around lunchtime, but 3pm WA time is 4.30 here, so we'll have to stop at Daly Waters on the way back to tie in with the Perth function.
