I am after a wiring harness for my ST1300. It is the top harness directly under the air filter box. The previous one has been completely demolished by rodents.
The part number on the harness is 32013-MCS-0001. Any one able to suggest or help?

What year and do you have a photo?

Check with Tony7, was parting out a ST1300.

Just had alook at the one I am parting out. The air filter box is off but can't see what you are after.

Is this any help in identifying the harness? :think1

I have checked that but it doesn't match with the part number. But having said that the part number on the main harness (the only one I could find) on mine doesn't match either.

I posted that link more for DJW's benefit hoping he could point out which part of the harness he was after as a Google search of the part number supplied doesn't bring up anything relevant... :think1

Just had a better look in the daylight (and moved a rag) fairly sure it is the Injector Harness. The part number on the hose has a different format to that on the parts list web site. Think the injector rail will need to be removed to replace it. So I have one. $100 plus postage from Perth.

The closest part no I can find is 32103-MCS-000, which is the injector sub harness. Knowing the correct year of the bike would help to get closer to the correct itmem.

That is the part but the tag on the harness has the number that DJW lists at the top of this thread.

Hi all. It is the injector harness. I will try to attach pics. The mice have completely and utterly decimated the harness. I have sourced a harness from a gent in Victoria. That's the easy bit, a bit of disassembly of various parts of the bike to install, get it together and hopefully no other damage anywhere else. Visually there does not appear to be but we will see once back together and try to start the bike. The initial problem was the bike would not start. There where multiply F1 codes relating to all injectors and various sensors that the previous big name dealer completely missed or ignored. If you zoom in on photos, you can clearly see the destruction. It is a 2003 model, non ABS

They definitely had a good feast on that.
-
I recon you should get a discount if not a complete refund from the dealer who didn't pick that up. Amazing photo of the destroyed wires.
-
After getting these photos I went back to the big name dealer. When I challenged them on how they missed this (they had the bike for 3 or more weeks and gave it back to me with a "we cannot help you, other than buy a new ECM and that might work), they basically said "what do you want us to do about it", "we should have charged you 3 times more than what we did for the amount of work we put into it". I am utterly disgusted in their attitude and customer service. I have no doubt that somebody from there will be reading this. I am currently reviewing my options where they are concerned.

I am not a big one for naming and shaming but if you don't get any satisfaction, at least an apology, I would be inclined to clearly state the facts on social media.
-
That's the problem with big name stealers they want your money but don't give the appropriate customer service.

Their attitude is very disapointing, and points to a total lack of customer care, and diagnostic skills. Take heart from the fact that you've identified the problem and are on track to get a replacement harnass to get you back riding, which is the objective. :thumbsup
