Hi members, purchasing an ST1100 soon!! and becoming part of the happy bunch! I am Steve (a Kiwi) and Gwen (Aussie) hence the kiwiroo!! I have been riding for too long to remember! Had lots of off road competition and adventure and looking for a comfy long range tourer! So far the website has given me a feeling that you are a great bunch. Spoke to Streak the other night and he doesnt sound too bad!! Any members in the Emerald Qld area? Would like to catch up and talk STs!

There's not much of anything in the Emerald area apart from coal mines and fruit trees.
But with a long range tourer like the ST1100, you'll be able to come and see us. There's a gathering in Biloela mid-year, so you won't have far to go to that.
Welcome to the circle. :thumb

Welcome Steve & Gwen from another Sunny Queenslander (It's Raining >:()) living in Toowoomba

Welcome Kiwi!
Great to talk to you the other night, i think you will fit in nicely around here, pity there are not any members in emerald apart from you, but then again, if you see any more, you will have to tell them about us, i can even post you some of our business cards so you can leave a calling card :)
cheers

Steve and Gwen, Welcome to the lunatic asylum...you know when they say you don't have to be mad to congregate here, well I hate to disillusion you but you DO!! :rofl :crackup
Biggles is right about the Biloela trip, it must be just down the bottom of your drive, at least it will feel like if from where you live! It's only 300 ks, barely time to get the engine warmed up. So look forward to seeing you both there!
Enjoy!! :clap :thumbs
-
PS, must have pics of the bike, and maybe even of you two!!, but definitely the BIKE!! :beer
-
Welcome to you both, you will be purchasing a great tourer with the ST1100, enjoy :beer

Welcome to the forum, you'll find lots of good information and banter here.
I go to Reward and Rubyvale and work at my mates underground mine, once a year, so I'll try and catch up with you in Sept this year.
Cheers

Hi Kiwi and welcome to the zoo.
I'm just up the road from you... in Townsville, theres around about a half dozen in Townsville and surrounding Areas, and the outer suburb to the north or us.... Cairns.
Perhaps we can do a ride one day to Belyando Crossing, have a drink and a Bite to eat and turn around and go home???? Known as a RTE Ride to Eat.
Cheers
