I just checked the tracking for my tyres. They were picked up Saturday 21 June 2014 at 7:34:00 AM CST and arrived in Sydney 1:12 PM CST this afternoon. Courier is DHL and the time frame quoted delivery is by the 30th June. Half way around the planet in 37/38 hours but how many days for the 1400 km to Adelaide?

I just ordered mine today and they are quoting 010714 as delivery date, which is to regional WA.

If that happens I'll be impressed, I had to wait the same period to get a 2 kg package from Brisvegas.

Cheers

Tyres arrived today so close to 6 days but still waiting on the Dyna Beads. Not sure why they just didn't put them in with the tyres.

Jake Wilson tends to send multiple packages. Must be just the way they are set up to send different items. I can't complain about the time it takes.

My shipment tracking says 3 packages.

Only ordered on the weekend and tracking shows in Hong Kong.

Better than AUS POST.

I just got an update from our local Hardware store. The beads are coming via Auss Post which is fine so could be days away yet.

Only ordered on the weekend and tracking shows in Hong Kong.

Reminds of parts that I ordered last year. First order via USPS was ok but the second ended up in Belgium.

What does Jake Wilson charge for delivery of two tyres?  It's just $320USD for a pair of PR4 GTs for the 1300.

Shipping Cost is based on dollar value

PR4 cost around $100 more than T30 putting the cost over $300 so an extra $US10.

Mine cost $65 as total was $299 or less.

Just noticed my tyres landed in Perth at 12.05, certainly worth the $69 shipping.

Now we'll see how long Aussie Customs can slow the process.

It's quicker with a courier than with the post. The guy in our post office says all incoming mail goes to Melbourne for customs clearance and unless it's express post (air) it's sent by road.

My experience in getting bits from USA, it is the States end, in particular the USPS that is extremely expensive and really slow. I found that once in Sydney, it's thru Customs and one day to my door in Canberra with AusPost. :like
