Since I do plan to keep STrudel for a while I'd say I'm probably interested.   But what's the experience of the oldies around here?  How many have had this part fail on them?

I had mine fail, and it cost me over $1000 dollars to replace the entire windscreen mechansim, which was the only option at the time.
