While people have their thinking caps on Pete, can you tell me what on earth is the thing on the crash bars on the bike next to your ST. I've seen nothing like it in my travels.

They are leather/vinyl covers over the crash bars, which protect the rider's legs from the wind and rain.  Fish only puts them on for the long trips.

Somewhere along this route:  https://goo.gl/maps/u8PRFmdBNt52

Mmmmmm .......... Berridale.

Not Berridale, but along that route.   Stop guessing, and work from the clue in the photo.  :OldMan

If you mean the hole in the sign I couldn't make out if it was a dog, horse, wolf or something else.

Crackenback?
Crackenback is correct my friend, but can you identify the facility?  I've removed the text from the bottom half of the sign.

It looks like a horse at full gallop.  Race track?  Breeders?

It is a horse at full gallop, but it is not at a racetrack.  I think I've found somewhere that Bodo has not been.   :grin

Wild Brumby Schnapps distillery?

Yes, it's at Crackenback's Wild Brumby Schnapps Distillery

http://www.wildbrumby.com/Our-Story
https://goo.gl/maps/atvojjMNu3G2

The Wild Brumby Distillery is a beautiful spot at Crackenback, and well worth a visit if you are in the area.   We sat on their verandah and had a delicious platter of local produce washed down with some very tasty non-alcoholic beer.   They grow their own raspberries for the schnapps, and the expansive garden is decorated with beautiful steel garden art made from all manner of old farm bits and bobs.  I was in my element.....

:think1 Well JD got the location, with Pete's advice  Biggles got the horse at full gallop.  Crackenback came up with brumbies & image search found the last pieve of the puzzle.

With that,  was easy enough to work out.

And as I think I'm short on pics, I'll be bold and nominate Biggles to open up the field a bit from the usual suspects  :grin

No I haven't been there, but I did think it was in the Snowy Mountains from the get go.

Thanks Mate.  I was wondering how to get into the game with some of those obscure deep southern pix.

This one is a gift for northerners...

Oh, and the well-travelled.   :grin
