The fact that Langers has said that he knows it, makes me think that it's somewhere on Eyre Peninsula.

Thanks for the hint Shillas, which stopped me from scouring Street View on the west coast, and sent me back to the detail of the photo.

It's the corner of Peake and Coombe Tce, Waikerie, and the building is the Waikerie Hotel/Motel.   Using skills developed in my past life, and with careful interpretation, it was possible to read the name of the hotel on the banner below the left umbrella.  :grin

Avoiding that one was a play on last weekend's trip report, but truth be known this is one place I'd like the check out.  My wife is also keen on it but we both doubt that the kids will enjoy it so who knows when we'll get around to it.
