I organised a bulk buy of these little devils for a local group of mates and myself. As can often occur with these type of buys, some mates (you quickly find out who your mates are) pull out and the buyer (me) is left with items excess for my needs.

I don't think anyone should presume that these are the same quality or sophistication as the Garmin units Garry (ppopeye) has listed in another thread, but they are pretty good from my perspective. I have had a pair on my ST1300 since 2015.
They are easy to fit and use (download the free app onto your smart phone); tyre pressure and temperature information is tranmitted via Bluetooth to your phone. The alert or message you receive will depend on what settings you have on your smart phone.
We didn't pay anything like the above eBay seller is asking, by the time total cost, postage and (hopefully) some costs recovered with this on-selling, these will work out at $40.00 each.
So I reckon $40.00 picked-up or delivered to an RTE, or $45.00 posted (within AUS) is fair.
In this case "each" is, each set / box shown in the eBay pic, and that includes:
- sensors x 2
- battery x 2
- wheel counter-balance weight x 2
- lock nut x 2
- tool thingy x 1 (for lock nut)
- instructions x 1
For what it's worth, I never used the wheel weights or the lock nuts.
Finally, I can't post pics, Photobucket is currently Photofuggit. When / if is stops misbehaving, I'll post some pics or message pics to anyone interested.
Oh yeah, I have three sets available.

Sounds like you've got the same issue as me...alzheimers...lol.
I'm always forgetting my passwords etc so have now resorted to putting them all on my phone.
I use an app called Colornote which you can securely lock with a password...Just don't forget that password!!!! :whistle

I have most of my usernames and passwords stored securely (well, I hope so) on my iPhone too. These are protected, not by a password but by a finger print, I just gotta remember which finger to use.

I'll take a set, will put them on the ST1100.
I have a garmin set on my ST1300, find them handy, even if they do chew through batteries.
In this COVID world, I'll have to go the Cobb & Co route and wait the couple of weeks for them to get here rather than doing a 14 day isolation.

Unless you test them with a calibrated system, there is no way to know.All they can really do is give a best guess as to pressure stability.

Good enough for me. I usually check tyre pressures at the local Caltex, or when on the road at one of the servos that has one of them 'totem' air guage and hose set-ups. I set the desired pressure on the totem, and top-up the tyres, then I check them with my VDO pressure guage. I find that there could be a 1 to 2psi difference which I suppose is okay, as I'm not racing.
The TMPS on the ST1300 is also within 1 or 2psi as well, as is the set I have on my Honda Civic. In the end, to me it's not the accuracy that's important to me (which is the accurate guage, instrument,system anyway?) it's the visual check I do with the iPhone app before riding or the audio warning (through the iPhone) if / when a tyre pressure drops below the pre-set minimum, that's important.
Not sure how it works for others, especially those with OEM TPMS systems. There's a video on Youtube about error messages and variances on a Subaru WRX system which (if on my Civic or ST1300) would probably drive me up the wall considering the costs involved.

Re. AutoExpert or John Cadogan, like him or loath him, his in your face presentation is a bit (a lot?) over the top, and he calls a spade a shovel, but I find him entertaining and interesting.
Back to the above TPMS, a correction in the specs, these TPMS do not have have the lock nuts and tool (for lock nuts), so differ in that way from the set I bought a fews years ago for my ST1300.
Also, some keen eyes might notice at the Fish Creek RTE that I currently don't have the TPMS on the ST1300. This is because I carelessly stripped the thread on one of the alloy 900 valves. These will be replaced at the next tyre replacement.

This was the topic of much discussion amongst some motorcycling colleagues, ie. which tyre pressure gauge or device should be relied upon.
From memory, PCL were a reputable brand. My Grand mother gave me a pencil style PCL my 18th birthday, it was a solid item, seemed quality, kept it for many years (may be in a box or drawer in the garage), swapped it over for an analogue / dial style VDO gauge around 10 years ago because it was easier to read. I remember comparing readings, there was no tangible difference.
In the above post, I mentioned a Youtube video, in that I think it was mentioned that Subaru wanted something like $400 to recalibrate the OEM TPMS in some guy's WRX. Apparently that's recommended or needed when new tyres are fiitted, or even if you rotate your wheels.
It would want to be a good job for that sort dosh, but it rasies a question from me re. who calibrates the calibration machine?

Having worked in calibration, I can answer some of the questions.
Who calibrates the calibrators.. A separate company that has testing ability at least 10 times better than your system. Most gauges used for calibration are made to a tolerance of .1% of full scale.. (IE, if the gauge is 1000PSI at full scale then the reading on the scale is +/- 1PSI)
A dial tyre pressure gauge has a typical tolerance of 3PSI, so a gauge with a full scale of 160 PSI is +/- 4.8 PSI.. (had many a discussion with people over aircraft tyre gauges saying this one must be out, cos its 5PSI off the other.. In fact they are both in tolerance) The pencil gauges can be more accurate than dial, but can be affected by dust moisture etc in the barrel. The most accurate are the electronic gauges, they use a peizoelectric crystal to measure the pressure, so their reading can be pretty good.

I bought an electronic gauge from the dealer I got the bike from on a subsequent visit. It seems very good and I went back for another but they didn't have them then. I check with that every time before I ride and set it at Diesel's suggested 44 and find that good too. I will find out if topping up is a pain with TPMS shortly. PS I usually have to put in a psi or 3 each time which is monthly mostly.

I've just recently acquired a Toledo (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/309101-TOLEDO-Digital-Tyre-Pressure-Gauge-/122359876496) digital tyre gauge and have found the accuracy to be pretty much on par with my new tpms...only around 0.3psi difference between the two, which is good enough for me.
I also find the Toledo really easy to apply, with next to no air escaping....unlike some of the other gauges I've tried.

Finally got around to removing these POS TPMS from the ST1100 the other day.
Michael, I could never get them to pair with either my android phone or my work iphone.
From memory, I think Langers also bought one with the same amount of luck.

Before I bought my TPMS I'd read reviews which basically said TPMS's that rely on your phone were pretty useless.
Something I agreed with as you can't constantly monitor tyre pressures if your phone is in your pocket...
Other than an issue with the little rubber seal on one sensor (which I replaced using a seal out of a valve cap) mine has been trouble free and would recommend them. :thumbs
When I ride my other ST I really do miss the ability to monitor the tyre pressures (and temperature).

The original Accutire TPMS kits I and a few mates had were pretty reliable, even the bluetooth connectivity to the iPhone worked well Both sets that I had went with a tyre change (for the ST1300 this was in Sydney I didn't notice until the next day in Goulburn) and when I sold the Honda Civic. I'm not sure about my mates' sets, I don't see them anymore.
The second bulk buy worked well for me and the other guys who in on the buy, until the bluetooth stopped working - I think these are in a bin. Langers and Ppopeye got a set each and problems from day one - I think I owe a counter meal, may be at Mannum, don't forget fellas.
When they did work the bluetooth connect to the iPhone was connected to the Sena and if pressures dropped a very audible alarm sounded, so even if iPhone was in your pocket or tank bag, there was a warning. You could also set it up for a flashing screen warning, I suppose that could be useful if the iPhone was mounted on the handle bars, but I never used that function.
I've since got TPMS (bluetooth to a dodad in the ciggie lighter socket) for Pajero and the Mazda6. These have worked well, no problems for 18 months.
The Pajero has warning sounds for every damn function and system, after hearing a steady beep beep beep one day, pulled over, went through the owner's manual forwards and backwards to no avail, turned out it was the TPMS, a screw in the RL tyre had caused the pressure to drop.

Nah, no need re countery, sh!t happens. These days I have my trusty SCA digital gauge and Aldi 20v pump and just check the tyres each time before I head off for a ride, and generally don't have to get out the pump.

With the ST1300, you would need to fabricate a mounting bracket (as I did) for the display though as the handlebar mount supplied is not gonna work... :think1

When I ride my other ST I really do miss the ability to monitor the tyre pressures (and temperature).
The reason I bought this set - I've got a set of pressure monitors on the ST1300 that is displayed through the Garmin Zumo

Garry I have had the Safe-T Dave TMS on the Ute and van for 12mths now and are find them very reliable
