Family matters have cropped up today, so sadly we will have to miss the ride.

Yes, top day.  Great ride to, very windy on the ride home, back at around 4:30pm.  Thanks to all for the chat, company, thanks to The Irish for their hospitality and good tucker.

Plenty of pics taken, I'll wait for Russell to post 'em.

Just a short ride for Sue & I today...  :grin

With the weather pretty much perfect except for quite a strong breeze it was good to be out on the bike.
Unfortunately, while taking the back roads between Ellinbank & Yarragon we hit a sharp ridge in the road which bottomed out the suspension resulting in enormous pain in Sue's back.

Arriving at "The Irish" Sue struggled to get off the bike but thankfully her back did settle a bit as the day progressed.

After a lovely lunch and good conversations with the rest of the gang, it was soon time for the obligatory photo in front of the flag and then the ride home...
After some discussion with Sue we headed for home via Moe, the Haunted Hills, Mirboo Nth & Leongatha...

Approaching the diabolical Vicroads designed T intersection in Leongatha, some old biddy thought it was a good idea to try to do a right hand turn across in front of us...
Thankfully we both managed to pull up just in the nick of time to avoid a nasty collision...
After much arm waving between us we then moved off and arrived back home just before 4...  :thumbsup

I almost forgot to take a photo of my Irish Parma...doh!

                                              The five Amigos!

                                            On the road again...

                                           Our route there & back...

Looks like a good crowd turned up and you had a enjoyable lunch, it’s a pity Sue hurt her back hopefully it wasn’t too painful riding back and keeps improving
Thanks for sharing and great photos

Thanks Leo!  :beer
The sudden braking when the old biddy pulled across in front of us didn't help Sue's back but surprisingly it's not too bad this morning which is good news.
The drugs are doing a good job, it would seem!  :rockon
