There will be a few of us staying at Harrington (54km north) for the evening, and partaking in a meal and drinks in memory of Saaz.  So bring your stories.

Hi Natman,
Not sure where yet. Our son lives in London (Canary wharf) and our plan is to get a self cater let somewhere in the country about an hour out of London so we can explore the countryside a bit and we can commute into to see him and our new grandson. We've stayed in Londion a few times now so want to find one of those idyllic English country villages with a couple of good pubs!

I've booked a two bedroom cabin (Cabin 5) at the Oxley Anchorage Caravan Park for Friday and Saturday night.    I therefore have a spare room with a queen bed if a couple wishes to share to help keep costs down.

I have spoken/emailed with the museum and have quote attending numbers between 20-30 members for a 11am arrival for a 12:30 lunch.

Lunch and entry to the museum will be $22 per head......normally $28

Sausage sizzle, salad, bread roll with Tea & Coffee.

An option for you Dave is to fly up to Canberra, stay here or with rellies, ride up to the Nabiac weekend with Chops n I on one of my bikes, I'll have both my 1100 and 1300 registered? Just an offer, Canberra accommodation and bike no cost except for fuel.

I plan on leaving Adelaide on Thursday morning and arriving at Harrington on Friday arvo.   I'm not sure if that plan will hook up with any others who are going.

It looks like there will be a few people in Harrington on the Friday night.  I presume the Harrington Club would be happy to accommodate us two nights in a row or are there other venues within walking distance?

Weather for this area on Fri/Sat/Sun is looking....well not overly favourable for fair weather riders.

Our plan is to attend on the bike but we will revert to the car as late as Fiday morning....Sicman advises he is in the same position. So we will have seating for 7 additional bodies if needed Saturday for the run from Harrington down to Nabiac and return.

And I'm sure their may be others who revert to 4 wheels for comfort/safety reasons.

So.....don't let the weather detract you from attending, remember this like all RTE's is a social gathering of like minded folk.

As this is a catered function on the Saturday at the Museam I need to provide accurate numbers to the Museum by 12:00pm Friday.....we have 26 members who advise they are coming in this thread and the Museumwill only cater for a minimum number of 21 people.

So if you are NOT attending the lunch on Saturday and you are listed here in this thread I NEED to know by late morning on Friday the 3rd on March.

If we need to move the Lunch location due to numbers it will be at the Greenhouse Cafe at 72 Clarkson St. Nabiac (just short of the Museum on the Right)

Well you see I was walking down a  dark side street when suddenly I was attacked by 10 ninjas :eek
I dodged their swords as best I could wile I took them down but they sliced off a lot of my hair in the process  (there is only so many sword swings a bloke can dodge when up against 27 ninjas)

Anyway that's what happened, I got them all in the end though :wink1

The ST1100 of our Mate Saaz(John) was interned as a part of the Nabiac Motorcycle Museum on Saturday. 23 OzSToc members travelled from Tas, SA, NSW, QLD, ACT to bear witness to the event and to celebrate Saaz and his motorcycle, and his love of OzSToc and red wine.

We encourage you to visit this great museum and see Saaz's bike on display. There is a vast array of all things motorcycle, from as far back as the 1800's to keep you amazed all day.

A great time was had by those attending the weekend. The weekend started with a Friday night dinner at the Harrington Bowling Club for the early attendees. The early risers got a feed of bacon and eggs at the local cafe, before the trip to Nabiac.

The museum put on a nice BBQ lunch on the Saturday. It was followed up by a dinner at the Harrington Irish Pub with a great meal and some nice drinks to wash it down before some nice deserts and the girls enjoyed a cocktail.

A great time was had by those attending the weekend. These are some photos from the weekend
