Suppose I'd better think about organising the trailer - now where did I hide the three person tent and air bed?????

Hey nigel, changed my mind on the trundle,  I've booked myself a bunk house room at the caravan park,  won't be as flash as the room you've got but it's got a real bed-i hope!

That's what most of us used in the last few years. Hotel rooms have only opened up in the last year or so.

Suppose I'd better think about organising the trailer - now where did I hide the three person tent and air bed?????
Aired my older tent out yesterday and inflated the old airbed ( stayed up so all good) just to make sure and recharged our new airbed pump (still have the 12volt one as spare).

Anyone have an ETA and maybe we can meet at the hotel room where most seem to be staying. Depending on when I leave home I'd say around 2:30 to 3:00 arrival at the caravan park for me.

If coming up from Adelaide...... the BP truck stop at Yunta might be your best option for fuel. There's no fuel at Silverton so Broken Hill for the return trip.

Yep, they told me when i booked, no biggie though they're not expensive. On the topic of travelling, most of my riding is solo, but i wouldnt mind catching  up with other riders maybe oodlawirra or possibly yunta - both have roadhouses and serve coffee  :hatwave. Be a change to ride in company. What are others travel plans, if its not too soon to ask...

I will probably leave Adelaide around 9.00am, which would put me at Yunta at around 1.00pm, and I'll be monitoring CB Chanel 40.    Perhaps I'll see you there.   :hatwave

I've PM'd you my mobile number.   :thumb

Not sure about Oodlawirra roadhouse.....it did go up for sale a little while back and looked closed in September last year but Terowie is open again (last two years).

I went through there around June/July, but can't remember whether the roadhouse was open or not! Terowie would be off my route by some, i'm coming from port augusta so orrorroo/peterborough/oodlawirra etc.
I'll keep a lookout for your headlights Pete   ;-* ;-* , shouldn't be too many bikes on the road at midnight...

I have mucked up this post big time, so here's the corrected version.   I expect to be at Yunta at one o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, and no "out of office hours" long distance ride for me this time (and I've just spotted my typo's)
Mike, your route should have you going through Yunta as well.
Anyone leaving from Adelaide might like to meet at the Bolivar Caltex at 9.30am on Saturday morning.

I was looking for the possibility of a different way home but it appears any of the alternative ways are about a day longer. :like :like
