I'm getting back on the bike again this morning. The first time since leg surgery in July. I'll make Esk my goal.  Hope to see you there.  Dave

A great day out. Good to see some old faces and to meet some new. I had a leave pass for the day and wasn't returning any earlier than I had too.  :grin     After enjoying a coffee and lots of conversation, I headed off up through Ravensbourne to Hampton then towards Toowoomba. Took a left turn at Mt. Kynock and headed to Murphy's Creek Tavern for lunch. After enjoying some whiting fillets with chips and salad, I headed off towards Gatton. I took the Esk-Gatton Road back to Esk. 2 sections of gravel with the old Stop/Go lights was a bit of a pain as it reached 33 degrees on that leg. After departing Esk, I took the Somerset Dam route and stopped for a refreshing beverage at Kilcoy before attacking the last leg to home. About 5 1/4 hours of ride time covering 415 k's. Notable absents at Esk, were Gadget and Streak.  :'(  A big Thank You to Esk Bakery for there continued support of OzSTOC.  :clap  It's great to be alive.  :thumb
Getting wind in my hair while I still have some.

They may say "A funny thing happened on the way to the forum" but in this case it's "A lovely thing happened on the way home from the RTE" well, not really but I came home via Mt Glorious and Mt Mee. Just a slow meander home no rush just a sightseer exploring. With lunch at Dayboro

Thanks Everyone

Great to catch up with a goodly number of OzSTOCers.
Our host goes above and beyond the call, with a free coffee for every STOCer.  I'd be happy with a discount, but free...   :eek

Ian being certain of something...

We've got to get Col a shirt

What the... ??    Ghost busters???

Getting warm for these lowland meet-ups.  Might have to be higher in summer- Maleny is a good suggestion.
Good to see Diesel allowed off the leash for a day.  I believe he's trying to get matey with the Caboolture vet against future needs.  Story there Dave?

Yeah, go on, rub it in.  I was really looking forward to catching up with everyone.

Seriously though, glad to see everyone had a good time.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone at Christmas at Tipsy's.
Instead I had a great night at Hope Island and then came home via Slacks creek and bought a new V-Zug Dishwasher at $1000 off RRP.  :runyay
Cheers,
Gary

You just need to finish the trifector with Stanley River Road heading up to Maleny.
