Great turn up forecast.  Weather on Wednesday looks to be the best for the week.
However, I'm out- my roster has me driving on Wednesday.  Will just have to wait until the 16th to see y'all.
Can't you instruct them how to drive to Plainland Pub and take your lunch break there?

Well what a great day
I purchased a Honda NT1100DCT yesterday in Brisbane from Pro Honda at Moorooka
So not telling anyone I turned up on it this morning to surprise everyone
So I’m back on 2 wheels after a long break, I’m still keeping the Spyder to see how I go
I’m loving it so far  :grin

I met up with 4 mates at the United servo on the New England Hway Cambooya turn off
PC met us there, we rode down through Ma Ma Creek and back roads into Laidley then up to Plainlands
First to arrive my mates had a look at my new NT1100
Then Diesel and the rest of the crew kept turning up, I think we ended up with 18 which was amazing maybe the weekday RTE are the way to go some of the OzSTOC members that turned up I have not seen for years
After lots of talking we ordered lunch, with such a big group it took a while for the meals to come out
As usual the meals at the Plainland pub were great

My mates headed off on their own and left me to chat with my OzSTOC mates
Eventually I headed off with Diesel and DavidP towards Laidley then over through Gatton
Diesel pealed off and went Flagstone Ck I followed David who turned off and went Murphys Ck so I followed him
He eventually turned into his street so I continued onto Toowoomba
Great day I did approximately 200km on my new NT1100 which I am gradually getting used to

Thanks to Diesel for organising this Impromptu short notice ride
It was a huge success  :hatwave

Carrol and I had a great day.

We had a smooth ride there, and even though we arrived around half an hour early, most of the guys were already there.

We had an awesome time catching up with everyone and had an awesome meal (I highly recommend the parmy)

Leo's new bike looks like a good one, and it sounds like he's having a great time on it :runyay

After an awesome RTE, we headed off to visit a nearby friend then headed home.

Thanks for organising an awesome RTE Diesel :hatwave

A real pleasure to catch up with you all once again. I'll throw up the odd impromptu mid week RTE now and then seeing how popular this one was.
Safe travels everyone. Stay safe out there and we'll catch up again soon.
Cheers, Diesel
