ESK Bakery Saturday 23rd of June Lunchtime Run
« on: June 02, 2012, 09:34:56 AM »
Hello All!

We are going to have a Ride To Eat (RTE) to one of our fine Supporters Esk Bakery on Saturday 23rd of June.

We will make this a Lunchtime meet up about 12.30pm

I (Streak/Graham) Will Be leaving Toowoomba at 9.15am from the BP on North & Ruthven Street
(I will be doing a loop up through Cooyar, Yarraman, Toogoolawah, aiming for Esk about 12.00pm approx http://goo.gl/maps/D6Nc)

TBA on Leaving Brisbane times (suggested that you could meet myself and whoever is with me at the turn-off from the D'Aguillar Highway onto Brisbane Valley Highway and we all come into Esk together from there)

This is a Great chance to meet any new faces that have joined and to support Esk Bakery who supported our National Rally this year. I know from personal experience (diesel & IanB will back me up) their food is very nice and so is the coffee!

Don't forget to Wear your OzSTOC Shirts!

Please post below if you are interested in coming.

cheers

Streak

Myself, Laurie Green and Dick Prisgrove (Greencan) and our respective wives are riding to Kingaroy that day and will be riding through Esk on the day. Our current plans put us in Esk a few hours ahead of when everyone else plans on getting there. We'll see if we can work things so that we can meet up with the rest of the group on the day.  :thumbs

Got that date vacant until SWAMBO claims me.
Pencil me in for now- I'm working on a plea-bargain based on a B&B overnighter for the Longwigend.   ::)

Excellent. I just placed a little order from the shop as well Streak so look out for that one as well. Has the 'Contribution' tab been removed? I'm more than happy to chip in each year to help finance the site.

Well I guess your right John, a shammy of a morning to get rid of the dew, and ride through the rain does equal a wash I guess.  :grin  But that means I've just wasted the last hour :||||

Hi Skip - it'll be great to see you out there.

The Ozstoc Team decided after the fantastically generous support showed by all OzSTOC Members in getting this website up and running initially, that we would basically hand the hat around once a year during August (being the anniversary of this website's coming online) for the ongoing costs of the website, and the running of this club.

We believe that there are sufficient members, that if those who were willing threw in $10-$20 - or what they could afford, once a year - then OzSTOC would be a great ongoing concern with not only all costs met, but a few extra dollars in the kit for banners, bbqs, printing of cards, and certain OzSTOC outings and services subsidised throughout the year.

This is NOT compulsory - NOR is it a Membership fee - just a token donation from you if you feel you got your ten or twenty bucks worth out of this site over the year. We will put up a post about it in August.

Hope this helps.

Cheers, Diesel

:thumb Thanks for the explanation Diesel. Just made a little purchase from the shop and thought I would tip in a bit to help out with ongoing costs.
Streak also re-posted the OzSTOC account details. Thanks to all who make this a great and informative site.
Cheers.
