We have an Evakool 47 lt esky. See
http://www.evakool.com/evakool-47-litre-fibreglass-icebox
Well stocked, with a two frozen 2lt ice blocks and one bag of ice, it's still got plenty of ice left after a week in the back of the ute. On the last trip, it was two days before any melt water could be drained off.

We have the Chilly Chest
https://www.techniice.com/ice-boxes/chillychest/cc50l-ice-box.html
Recently used on our trip to Perth and one bag of ice bought in Norseman on the way home still had some left about 4 days later at home.
Some of these came with ours but I've never used them

Alan we have the ice packs and find them good. You can add them to the top of any fridge to make it more efficient. Powered or not.

I don't have any contact or agenda with this company. They just work!
