A picture would help, but a really easy way to tell is by the presence or lack of an accessory wiring plug under the seat at the back, and 8 wires that end in bullet sockets. Standard bikes dont have it.
Also, on the left side below the pocket is a hazard switch, and a switch ladled 6 (or 9 if its been put in upside down) and of course the ever popular right hand switch cluster next to the throttle
