I too am new to the bubbler/spotwalla tracker but shall give it a go when I head out for the Halls Gap RTE next week. I shall be taking the scenic route. The trip kicks off next wednesday.

Today was a late start by my standards. Today's destination is Swan Hill, via Speewa NSW and Speewa VIC. My original plan was to leave Adelaide and come to Swan Hill. The Brisbane leg got added on later.
I went to a place called Lower Portland yesterday.

I've only just seen this thanks to the turning of the page. You picked it. I planned to go to Speewa first but the bike was making a noise so I wanted to get it looked out (chain needed a spray, nothing serious) and since I was in town I went and bough a usb-hdd, went back out to Speewa (both Speewas) and did the punt.

The next morning I wandered down High Street and had a poached egg and smashed avacado breakfast. This made me think I should get a man bun, but then realised one actually needed hair for that :'(.

Again, you are just a few blocks away from my final address in Melbourne. Just east of Northland across the creek, Kila street off Liberty Parade.
I left that address in March '81 and moved to the Gold Coast for almost ten years.

I ate in the venue last night and had a couple of beers. I bring cereal on road trips so breakfast will be my usual special k. I'm meeting a friend for lunch so I don't know what she has lined up.

Back in Port Campbell... I decided to complete the Great Ocean Road as it's been sunny since Torquay. My 2014 trip was besotted by rain so rather than regret it tomorrow I finished it today.

Back home (you know what I mean). A very truncated lap. The original plan was Terang → Camperdown → Cressy → Inverleigh → Winchelsea → Colac → Chapple Vale → Simpson → Princeton → Port Campbell. I lost more than four hours getting to Terang so from there is was Terang → Colac → Simpson. Such is life.
I have a new tyre so the the worry about the plug holding has gone. I'll work on a report shortly.

There's a really nice loop from Wodonga out through Beechworth (old gold mining town), Myrtleford, Bright, Mt Beauty, Falls Creek, Yackandandah, Ebden/Bonegilla, Wodonga.

I've noticed my spot hasn't moved today but I have been out riding. My other gps tracker got the whole trip.

Probably. I sometimes have connection problems with my Telstra phone in that area.
I see you rode through Vic Valley Rd today, some nice scenery through there, and a slow easy pace with plenty of time to see everything because of windy roads and lo speed warnings.
Some very scenic views along Mt Victory road close by as well. Great twisties to ride through leading to Zumsteins.

Yes. I got a couple of photos on the up but the top was in the clouds and I couldn't see anything. Victoria Valley... a couple of nice views but nowhere safe to stop and take photos. There was one lookout but from there couldn't see much. The funniest thing I saw today was a tractor try to lift up a car. Eventually they gave up and used the tractor to tow it away. I don't know why they didn't do that in the first place. The gopro should have captured all of it.
