Police Pans...
« on: February 10, 2014, 03:24:59 PM »
Got a pic of an ST11 or 13 in service?

Drop it here with a reference to which department owns it - e.g. CHP ST1300 or British Medical ST1300 etc

Here are three Police Pans from our friends in Asia (I think Thailand)...

Cheers, Diesel

I acknowledge hardworking Australians no matter who they are or where they come from. All those who have contributed to this wonderful country deserve an equal share of gratitude for their contributions. To single any group of individuals out for special homage only denigrates the rest of us.

I've got more farkles on my bike!  Must have a siren somewhere, surely!

Is that a picture of their girlfriend behind the windscreen?
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

That looks like one of Marcus' Photoshop jobbies.

(spoiled by that HD with the "6 volt" headlight in the rear).

You'll find that the photo of the 1100 and the 1300 in a car park are actually Western Australian bikes. They're parked in the Wilson's car park next to the Central Law Courts in Hay Street and if memory serves me right, the 1100 is my old mount.

Here is how the Police Pan came to be.......

This is the very first ST1100 Pan used by police in the UK. It was a standard machine and was converted for police use
in the Durham Constabulary workshops. Honda later inspected the project and sent technicians all the way from Japan
and as a result the Police Pan was born.

Nice tip-over bars all those Police bikes have.
The Washington State Sheriff's pic is missing.
