Agreed. Since it's dangerous enough with two, why on earth would you take one off the tarmac?

With a 70 kg (or so) pillion, an exuberant acceleration off the lights will see your front wheel come up without trying.

Ditto sometimes I wish the Strumpet had three wheels.

Pan has surprised me a few times with his eagerness to raise the front wheel. Usually when I'm keen to get away from a line of traffic. I experienced the roll on throttle lift off this evening when I went to overtake a slow car :eek
