I understand from Wendy that this is a long weekend in NT, giving our northern members more travel time to get home.   Nostimo's has the best Pizza in SA, and the've relocated their shop from in the main street into the caravan park.

The only NT public holiday in august is the Monday the 1st and I found that by googling NT public holidays.

 Well the 6th is just a normal weekend which wouldn't leave Wendy much time to get back home so for her the previious weekend would probably be better but either weekend wouldn't worry me.

Hold your enthusiasm everyone while we do some checks on the date, and the availability of the NT OzSTOC membership.  I was thinking we had scheduled the ride to correspond with the NT long weekend, giving Wendy more time to get home, but have got the wrong date.   I've sent a message to Wendy, seeking her input.
A date change may be needed.

It has been moved from the 6th August to the 30th July 2016

Bringing the event forward by one week has two benefits, in that the weekend of the 30th July is a long weekend in NT, giving our NT members an extra day to get home, and it also allows those attending the Border Run on Saturday 6th August an opportunity to attend the Coober Pedy RTE.   I've edited all the posts t reflect the new date and apologise for the original date error.  Normal discussion can now resume
