We may well be attending this one in the car. I'm still out of action with the torn achilles, been in a moon boot for over 3 months and no end in sight yet. Even if I'm riding again by then, I'm certainly not going to be ride-fit enough to do 2000km each way in a weekend....

Lack of funds due to getting car repaired......ignition switch collapsed and car is down the workshop getting fixed.

Who's interested in sharing some "hard" accommodation for Saturday night? A fancy villa in the Stuart Range Caravan Park is about $250 for one night for four people.

I'm going to pull the plug on this ride as well. My bike is still in the Adelaide repair shop and chances are it won't be ready in time for this ride.

Route including fuel stops entered into GPS giving us 666km (where have I seen that number before????) trip over 7.5 hours and I guess an ETA of 4.30 pm if we left home at 8am.

We haven't committed yet; will know more on Tuesday.

Pete and Steve what are your ETAs?

Richo and I will plan our journey to arrive at the Stuart Range Caravan Park at around 1600hrs, giving a bit of time for a Nanna Nap before the festivities.

Chria and I are on our way home from Katherine, leaving tomorrow, and trying to find things to do tokeep up up here until the 30th but we will most likely have pizza a week before you all get to Coober Pedy and be home by the 30th.

The pizza was great on the way up five weeks or so ago.

. Sorry guys but I am now unable to do this run. On the way to work this morning the dreaded F1 light came on. Whether it is the five way valve or not I have yet to find out. In talking with the service people at the local dealership they can squeeze me in but told not to expect much change from $1000. By the time they chase the fault and do a service whilst they have it.

Richo, sorry to hear of your withdrawl, as I know we both were really looking forward to this ride. Coober Pedy is such an iconc Aussie outback location.
