All good Stimpy, just going to take me awhile. Have not been able to locate where the bike is stored yet.

Have not been able to locate where the bike is stored yet.

I can sort of relate to that after being rear-ended in 2012.  The insurers deemed it a write off and eight or so months later I got a letter from the licencing office chasing up number plates.

Bike has now been found. A mate from Port Macquarie did some homework on the phone this morning and I now have a location and phone number.

Glad you are Ok Kev.  Hopefully they can get the rusty old knee replaced with a new stainless one so you can be up and around very soon :thumb

Thanks Tony. I asked the doc why they don't use monkey knees for replacements instead of stainless steel?
He looked at me, puzzled.
I declared "Stainless is so expensive, whereas you get two 'ape-knees' for a penny!"

Reaction?... face palm.. :grin

Ha Ha. That's the kind of joke you should tell the surgeon after the operation.
He"ll cut back on the anaesthetic now.
I wonder how many of our younger members will struggle with its meaning.
Keep smiling.

Well, the surgeon that looked at my knee in 2009 said that they could pump it full of silicone every 4 months, at a cost of around 10k per year,
to which I said "TEN THOUSAND? ... I can get a WHOLE TUBE of silicone from Bunnings for $2.50?" :rofl

Tittybong? Guess it depends on the accent  :grin

I rode to Warrnambool the following day via Tittybong.
(I only know this now because I am going through gopro footage and following it on google maps).
