Hi, all. Due to circumstances within my control, there is a great chance that this will be a non-event for me. I have booked and paid for Cabin 2. Happy to donate to any body that may have issues getting accom. Just, let me know and I will transfer the booking.............Nigel.. :wht11
Bugger!  I was looking forward to catching up again.

I spoke to the hotel today, and confirmed our dinner booking for around 6.00 - 6.30pm.

Can I suggest that those travelling from Adelaide meet at the Tailem Bend Shell Servo at 11.00am for morning tea and a chat, before continuing to Mundulla.     Here it is.....   https://goo.gl/maps/yHYUmUCNDK42

Sounds good, see you there

John g,  Since you're coming from down south, does 11.00am at the Tailem Bend Shell work for you?

Overnight looks very unlikely for me at the moment but I might join you for that morning tea and chat, pending on roster.

I'm trying to work out the most scenic route to Tailem Bend. Nice ride through Princes Hwy, Murray Bridge, them Tailem, or down the other side of the river & then ferry at Tailem.  Anybody have a preference for an interesting ride route?

How about Midday at Coonalpyn?   There's a new cafe/coffe shop opposite the painted silos.

I can work with that.  I  like the idea of doing the Wellington ferry and going from Meningie to Coonalpyn.   I  have never done that road.

That sounds OK, might do that route as well. Might aim for 10am at Wellington.

:think1  1030am at Wellington ferry would be ample time to meet at coonaplyn if anyone is intrested.

To John g, Bodo, Shillas and myself

How about we all meet at the Welington Courthouse Cafe, near the ferry, at 10.30am for a coffee and morning tea, and we can head to Mundulla from there.  Wellington's about 100km from my place, and it's an easy  200km to Mundulla from Wellington.   Keith Bakery for a late lunch perhaps??

Sounds good. There's a back route to Mundulla as well, via Padthaway,  looks sealed all the way, but happy whatever route is chosen.  Counting down the sleeps  :grin

I can't pull an overnighter but had already mapped out a riding course for the day.  I'll try to join you at Wellington for coffee but will probably do my own thing after that including the Meningie-Coonalpyn road mentioned above.  I hope to get some good photos of the silo before heading on the Yumali-Sherlock-Karoonda before heading home.  I'll definitely be in Halls Gap in november.

I assume from your itinerary that you won't be dining with us at the Mundulla Pub on Saturday evening??
