Take care around Sedan, don't want you getting lost  :grin

I thought something along those lines last night too.

I plan on being at the Blanchtown Roadhouse at 11.30 for a cuppa, and will be going via Mt Torrens, Mt Pleasant, and Sedan.

Not a bad run across the hills from Mount Pleasant that way and we have done it quite a few times in the past.

Being Saturday you might come across a few trail bike riders South of Sedan because a club uses some of the land in the area for their rides.

Running from Blanchetown to Morgan is best done on the Eastern side of the river as it's sealed all the way.

I concur, as I found the hard way after our RTE in Cadell.  I think I mentioned it in my ride report.

At the moment it's no go for us
I have a date with the dentist on the Friday and will be having a tooth out and it won't be until Saturday morning before I know if I'll be ok to ride that far or not.

We both wish to attend but don't expect us and we'll turn up if at all possible.
As a just in case and because the tyre dealer (4 cent/litre discounted fuel) doesn't open on weekends I topped the 1300 ready for tomorrow.

Not so easy to get the tooth out (keeps breaking) and it's still in there until Tuesday. Nerve removed, some medicine added and then a temp filling to close it up. Have to keep the area clean as best as I can; plenty of mouth wash I have.

It seems a rush on surgical extractions has left them short of sterilised instruments.

How about we meet at the Morgan Riverfront Reserve at 12.30pm and can then decide where we want to go for lunch.   As indicated earlier, our options are the Bakery, Riverview Cafe, or the Commercial Hotel.

I plan on being at the Blanchtown Roadhouse at about 11.30 for a cuppa, and will be going via Mt Torrens, Mt Pleasant, and Sedan.

I reckon Captain Morgan Spiced Rum would be the mouthwash of choice. Not only does it have antiseptic properties its anaesthetic qualities are exceptional.

I'll stick with Brandy; hospital version or not. At least I have some which has been sitting in the fridge for the year or is it two years?

Actually, a very interesting topic of Dentistry. Last few times had a couple of outs, age does that to us, but to keep the tradition of having a beer or three, I bought a packet of plastic straws and have never looked back....Go figure

A few pictures from today's RTE at Morgan.

A total of 11 turned on 6 bikes plus one VW Amorak and thanking all who attended.

Our 1300A up front with Mac55's 1300 which replaced his written off 1100P

StinkyPete leading the way for Langers and John G

Then we have a first timer; CTX 1300 owned by Steve from Stansbury.

Lunch was had in the Riverview Cafe

All the bikes together looking from the cafe. There is a Triumph Bonneville (the owner came with the CTX owner Steve) hidden behind a tree and you can just see it near the red 1300.

I took this one before we left; ours up front, Ian's and finally John's 1100

I had a lovely 550km day, and my route there and back is attached.  I got through Sedan without getting lost, and as a side note, the lady who went missing is my daughter-in-law's cousin, so we were all relieved when she was found safe and sound.    We had quite a few gathered at the Blanchetown Roadhouse for a cuppa and a chat on the way to Morgan, and we got pretty settled there which is why we were a bit late arriving at our destination.    We all had a good look at Mac55's "new" ST1300 which was a replacement for the ST11 that he stacked at Morgan last time we were in the area.  It was good to see him back in the saddle again and that he didn't loose his nerve.  There was also a CTX1300 in the mix of bikes and it was interesting to see one "in the flesh".    Langers, Julie and I stopped for a coffee at the little cafe near the ferry at Swan Reach on the way home, and I rolled in the driveway at home just before 6.00pm.
