Pete and I made it home safely as well. Tough going - but when the going gets tough, the tough get going!  :thumb

Langers and I copped some stick for turning up in the ute, a decision we made based upon a pretty awful forecast.    Well, we feel that the decision to drive was the correct one for senior gentlemen, as it was wet and very windy on the way up, and going home we struck rain so heavy that I couled barely see the road in what was almost "white-out" conditions.

"Hats Off" to those who rode, and I'm relieved to read that you are all home safe.   It was great to be able to have a pub lunch again with OzSTOC friends.

I copped that on my first ever traversing of the northern connector.  That was fun.  I'll do a ride report later.

There's probably a line there regarding incontinent pads & onions/cabbage...but being a gentleman also, I'll keep those comments to myself... :whistle  :Stirpot
