Wanted: ST1100 towbar
« on: May 11, 2022, 10:49:13 AM »
The boss has purchased a motorbike camping trailer from couple returning to UK, and wants me to tow it. I've had a look on a few places with no luck. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Patience is often the key with ST1100 or ST1300 tow bars.  You'll often see two or three on Facebook Market Place in a month, then none for the next six months.  Similar with FB groups like https://www.facebook.com/groups/AusMTO.

And then there's this homemade one, looks sturdy and seems to be connected to all the right places.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/AusMTO

I sent a message to JDBiker as while back with a link to an ST100 tow bar, he might recall.

To buy a new one is about $650 including freight. It is a heavy and large odd shape to pack. I will not know for sure how much cost of freight will be until packaged up and presented to a carrier.

Cost of second hand towbar?. Make me an offer.
