Help is required by travelling OzSTOC Member...
« on: April 05, 2013, 12:52:19 PM »
OK Westies - anyone available to help TJ189 (Trev) out while he rests at the Coogee Holiday Park?

He is in the middle of another one of his EPIC rides and has lost a HID globe in the headlight array.

He is resting up until his departure tonight at 11pm - will arrive there around 5pm. If anyone is able to take a HID globe (and wire) down to him he would be much obliged.

No probs if we can't get to Trv, but he thought he'd give it a go. I have his mob no. and will PM/txt it to anyone who requires it to help.

These things are a pretty standard fit. Trev says he does NOT want a halogen, and can put up with a single headlight across the paddock if need be.

If anyone can help - post here, PM me or txt/call Diesel 0466 494 334.

He is about to embark on a 50CC which means Fremantle to Newcastle in 50 hours - and that's just a PART of his ride.   Go Trev!

Cheers, Diesel

I probably can. You'll need to give me a part# and where to get it from though.... I don't have HIDs on mine..... it rarely sees night from outside the garage.

Is this the drop-off point: http://goo.gl/maps/fxYnI

Hi yorl - I just spoke to Trev in morse code (poor phone reception)... he's arriving in Perth in about 3 hours and more than likely going straight to bed, then up at 11 tonight. He says he'll only have about 10 minutes to fit the HID. It sounded like he's never actually done it before - like me. So, if there's anyone who's done it, knows it can be done quickly without taking all of the bike's clothes off, and can get to Coogee by about 5, then PM me or Diesel for his number.

Cheers, Rob.
