Yorkie, and Sabie
H3NDO, mate, just because Yorkie and I are the same age doesn't necessarily mean we don't understand 'new technology',
between myself and my wife we have three desktop computers, two laptops, 6GB of Network Attached Storage, two iPads, and two iPhones, all with high-speed broadband internet access; I have a 500GB download limit a month and use most of it, and I run a small software development company.
My first computer was a TRS-80 which pre-dated the Commodore 64. It had a whole 16KB of ram and a tape drive to load software, and my first hard-drive was the size of a besser block and had an amazing 10MB of storage!
My point was that I can't see the point of Facebook and it's clones, and that it's risks, for me, outweigh any usefulness that I can see, but I was simply stating my own opinion, and I respect your right to express yours, if you like it fine, I don't.
Please don't take this as criticism 'cause it isn't meant that way, I simply don't see useful purpose for it, that's all. Now
and
on the other hand, now there I can see usefulness!!
