Getting Naked
« on: August 17, 2012, 08:38:42 AM »
Just read a few post about owners of ST's both on and off this site who have contemplated or at least alluded to the point of what there bike would look like sans plastics.  :eek

:-((( Now im not trying to upset the purist's out there - I just bought my 96 ST1100 and I think it looks fantastic.  :thumb

Just throwing this in the winds of discussion. If you don't what to get splattered with what gets thrown at the fan - Stand behind it.  :rofl

Please post if you have found other quirks of a similar nature.

Here is a prime example of what the outcome could be with a bit of rework. (okay maybe a lot but still impressive ).

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

You cable them together with electrical tape, just like Mr Honda does.

Interesting what he's done to that first one.  Heavily modified (e.g. reworked panel) so it looks more like a racer (as per the number, I guess).
