«

The headlights on my13 have decided to work some times & other times not. They usually come on with ignition switch but sometimes come on after starting and some times not at all. Passing light flasher still works when h/light isnt. checked all fuses any ideas.
Cheers Greg

Sounds like a loose connection. I'd be checking all the wiring.
Good luck

Check your that starter switch is releasing all the way.
The switch can stick about half way if it hasn't been lubricated. The lights turn off and on as you press and release the start switch. Spray lube seems the easiest solution.

Thanks Alan,
seems to have done the trick, actually when I started the bike at work this arvo I knocked the starter with my thumb. Hey presto lights again.
Will give it a spray of inox.
Thanks again Greg

Both the ST11 and ST13 can do with either regular Inox spray to keep thing going with the starter and turn switches, otherwise it may need a physical clean. Also spray some Inox in all the keyed parts of the bike once a year just to make sure they keeping working as they should.
