He obviously loves his trailer, judging by the value he's put on it.  The large spoked wheels are a great idea for reduced rolling friction.  It probably carries a fair bit, being tall.

BTW, Turtle, Tripod has lost your avatar.  You can host it on the forum so it only goes down when the forum does (about once a week lately).    :grin
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

While it may be very practical, I think it's the ugliest bike trailer I've ever seen.    :o

It's certainly the weirdest shape I've ever seen - I wonder what is was in a previous life?
I acknowledge hardworking Australians no matter who they are or where they come from. All those who have contributed to this wonderful country deserve an equal share of gratitude for their contributions. To single any group of individuals out for special homage only denigrates the rest of us.

Got the little brain ticking.
couple of 17 front motorcycle spoked rims might be the ideal trailer wheel.
Rolling resistance would be low, just need to figure out the axle.
Never under estimate the predictability of stupidity.

A pudding basin and a shoe box on an old pram frame with no suspension. No thanks.
