I think that's just Leo adding some class  :p

Thanks ST2UP  :like
I do prefer the new black shirts so they are much cooler and defiantly breath better on a hot day and with the material being
anti-bacterial a bit better on the nose and as Pockey said has a slimming affect on us men that like to spend a bit of extra time in the kitchen, as my wife Robyn is a great cook someone has to eat it, I hate wastage

The black shirt is easier to live with as cooler and survives a few days of use on the road (not worn all the time of course). I will use one of my older ones for the cooler weather.

Yes! My New Zealand jacket has completed its second ocean leg and finally arrived in this fine land. Do I get a prize for last (like we give to our sports teams)?
I thought I’d be exempt from the sizing issues as I’d deliberately ordered several sizes too big to allow for my normal thickness of Winter clothes but alas, no. It’s a great Summer fit but a no-go for the next cold trip down to the deep south.

Yay, it's here, and better still it does up. Certainly wouldn't fit with the liner, but I live I the tropics so that doesn't really concern me too much.

My Jacket arrived yesterday and unfortunately, like a lot of others, is about 2 sizes too small. Ordered a XXL but it doesn't come close to fitting. On a positive note, the design and materials appear to be absolutely fantastic. I hope we can get the sizing problems sorted without too many problems.

Cheers. :thumbsup

The OzSTOC grand plan to ensure every member who bought a Jacket will get a Jacket that has the best possible chance of fitting them is in the final stages....we are also giving the more remote members the opportunity for their Jacket to be delivered for assessment.

I have to say on a personal note, Mark has simply been superb through this whole process, regardless the question, or enquiry his service was excellent, he is personally devastated about this project as like myself we where very excited, and now, he is now in a position he has to carry the can for all this, normally I would say that well he was the jacket supplier to bad, but he is an ozstoc member, he attends RTE's, he has his own ozstoc shirt, he is booked into our national rally, so I consider him one of our brothers as well.

I just wanted to get it out there that he is one of us, and this has hit him pretty hard, so when your talking to him, give him a pat on the back, and be kind   :beer

to be honest I am not sure want size to exchange ,  I ordered an XL but may it may be up to three sizes too small ,I cannot do the jacket up it misses by at least 3cm, to give you an example I have two jackets  a DriRider ( M) and a Motodry Nitro ( L ) I can wear a thick jumper under both , my current chest measurement is 106cm and it is on that size I based the XL size on. I hope this helps as to whether I send the jacket back to you for replacement or you send a replacement jacket.
the quality and style of the jacket is excellent and I really feel for mark at this time nobody deserves this.

I preface the following with advice that I was not / am not involved in the purchase of the OzSTOC Custom Motorcycle Jackets.

I've checked the Exchange Thread, the numbers and sizes of jackets involved, and can't help but feel that some members may be left "short" in the exchange process, ie. some may not get a jacket size they need, others may be left with a jacket size that has not found a new home.

In the case of the latter, some members (like me) who were not involved in the current purchase may offer to purchase one of the jackets that have not found a new home at the original price plus postage, ie. $194.00.

Food for thought ..............
:think1

So, if left over jackets are available at Toowoomba or another gathering (I think trying them on would be prudent), I'll kick it off with an offer - $194.00.

Jackets I have now are Large or Extra Large, I'm not sure what OzSTOC Custom Motorcycle Jacket size would fit me.

Cheers,  Williamson (AKA Michael)

YAY, my 5xl jacket turned up and guess what ???
even with the extensive training as a contortionist ive been undertaking since the sizing problem arose - still no good
so it looks like it goes on the swap list
problem is i cant see to many 7xl's out there
and i feel kinda bad about Zen picking up the bill because the manufacturer cant figure out how read a tape to make clothes
unless of course he's insured - then its another story

Remember this people when your government insists on buying complex items from 3rd world countries
especially if theyre for the defence force
if they cant make a jacket - how the hell could they build a ship

Just one simple question to make sure im reading this right
If i send my jacket to a member requesting that size and inform the powers that be of the transaction
and am left without a jacket
and a suitable replacement isnt available (since only 1 was made)
Zen will replace it in the correct size without any additional cost ?
does that sound right?
Do we know what the time frame for this operation would be?

and lets hope the manufacturer doesnt suddenly start measuring in cubits  ;-*

Chris, as I'm still in Scotland at moment, and won't be home till next Thursday, my jackets should still be with Mark at zen, so should I put the jackets on the swap thread now, or just wait till I try them. If I put them on now and someone needs them will Mark post them from office or will I still need to go collect them and re send??
