Deeply saddens me to see this got to attacking others on a personal level.  :'(

I agree with you Sargent  ++, but after 28+ years of public service, I tend to take unfounded comments personal, and respond accordingly.

Biggles can you please explain your comments further please, as I may have read your comments wrong ??

Simply this- Sabie claimed to just challenge the process by which decisions about suppliers, designs etc were made.

My contention is it's people who do the processing, and hence it's impossible not to be condemning the people by implication, in this case, Streak directly .
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

While tempted to do so, I'm not going to have a go at Sabie as enough has been said on the matter already.  He's been bashed around the ears enough on this matter and I can only hope he gets the message now.

I do however, wish to add my support to everything Streak, Diesel and the new crew have done so far. From initially forming this group, to coming up with our very own group riding jacket, as well as the new shirt. I don't think I could have personally done any of what they have achieved so far. So 'hats off' to all of you, and keep up the good work.

And please don't change the process of doing things. Because if you do, the next thing you know, we'll have secretaries and treasurers and financial reports etc etc etc.  Before you know it, this group will slowly progress down the 'Ulysses' way. Not having a go at Ulysses, but just the fact that with Ulysses, you have sub branches with elected officials. We don't want that.

The way we do things in this group now, is what makes this group special.  And don't think for one second, that the efforts of those running the show are not appreciated. We should not allow one dissenting voice to influence the direction or camaraderie of this group.

Nuff said.  At ease, and carry on.  :beer

Well thank you everyone who posted here for your contributions and sense of fair play in your responses to the issue raised... We will now close this thread and hopefully ALL learn from the experience and move on to what this club represents......the fantastic Honda ST motorcycle and sharing our passion with like minded people.
