So my 2004 has decided that when engaging the front brake lever it does not wish to activate the rear brake light. Rear brake pedal works fine. So before pulling it apart any suggestions on where and what to look for as the culprit?
Cheers, Brooke

The problem will be the little micro switch near the brake lever. They are cheap and easy to replace.
Item 1 in this breakdown..

Yep- had it happen. Easy fix, and as Brock says, fairly cheap. Your friendly Honda dealer should carry the spare- it's probably common to a lot of bikes.

Many thanks Brock and Biggles, got over to The Isa this week and they had one in stock for $21, been on the shelf so long the plastic bag just crumbled :rofl Easily fitted and working.
