ST1300 odometer reset at 200,000
« on: November 12, 2012, 09:27:43 AM »
Seems like it might go back to zero, and the trip meters only go so far as well if you are using one for long term measurement

http://www.st-owners.com/forums/showthread.php?122842-Gutted-my-st1300-milometer-did-not-change-to-200-000-miles-went-back-to-zero

For those wanting to have this milestone, better prepare the camera.  For those wanting to sell a high distance ST13, ride a bit more to get to 280,000 or so  :wink1

The same thing.
The reason behind it is they wanted to have just one element of the number in the 6th slot, hence a "1" but nothing else because they need all the elements to make the numeral.
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

This explains why my "B" trip meter showed bugger all when checked after arriving in Middleton .
On the positive side, only 78K to go before getting a " new " bike !
