Another great RTE at Esk Bakery, it's been a while
I left Toowoomba with 2 mates Pete on my old ST1300 and Dave on a Yamaha FJR1300
Another great ride from Hampton down to Esk, I never get sick of this road
Shiney and Carol were already there
I was having a look over Shiney's Goldwing as I am looking at maybe getting back on 2 wheels. What a bike I can see why he decided to upgrade
Other's soon starting turning up so we all kept checking out the Goldwing
After a while we decided we better go have something to eat and drink
Great pies are coffee and more chatter about life
My mate Pete had to get back to watch a local football final
So we headed of back through Gatton and up the range to Toowoomba
It was great to catch up with some old and new faces
Thanks Shiney and Gadget  for organising another great RTE

Carrol & I had a great day.
We had a cruisy ride to Esk out past Fernvale where we managed to slip past the markets without Carrol getting to distracted :grin

After arriving at the Bakery we chilled for a little while before Leo and his mates arrived.
We went over to say g'day and had a chat for a while before heading over to the bakery where we met up with DaleAP and Shanelolita & Delores.
And after a little while my mate Ray arrived on his KTM (he doesn't manage to get out often so had gone the long way there.)

We all had a good chat and a good feed before starting to make a move :thumbsup

It was awesome to catch up with everyone and meet Shanelolita & Delores :hatwave

After saying goodbye to everyone we headed home over Mount Glorious.
It was a great ride over the mountain apart from one point >:()...
We were going around a blind bend when suddenly there was a 4WD traveling on the wrong side of the road straight at us :eek
The 4WD was going around a cyclist and was taking up half our lane, luckily being on a motorcycle I was able to manoeuvre around him.

Anyway after that it was a pleasant ride the rest of the way home :runyay

Thankyou to everyone that was able to make it and I hope to see you at another RTE soon.

YIKES!! Talk about a pucker factor moment! Glad to hear the beast can manouver.  ;-*

I took a break at Mt Glorious Cafe and was sitting on the grass when you guys cruised past.

 :wht13  I was looking forward to riding out to Esk and back but decided against it. Hurt my back the other weekend and was just starting to get my movement back so stayed home. Sounds like a good day out for everyone. Catch you all next time.  :blu13left
