Victorian route to OZSTOC
« on: March 26, 2012, 07:32:56 AM »
So after riding the Vic RTE yesterday I am supper excited for the national meet. The distance I covered yesterday is the same as the distance needed to reach West Wyalong for bed and butt rest... So I am pumped for this trip and cannot wait. I initially had my doubts about hitting the distance, see as it will be the longest in the saddle.

So I think this is the route I will be taking to get to West Wyalong.

Unless go guys know of a better way?

Good onya Stringo - great to see you building up your distances and stamina.

I tend to stand on the pegs as I hit town/city limits to keep my circulation going well.

It'll be great to catch up at Blackheath again - I'm quite looking forward to it as well - there are some very cool things planned - so bring your vid cam as well as normal cam too.

Cheers, Diesel

PS - your mate still coming?

Yeap I think that'll be the go. I'm meeting my friend Danny aka sulkybear at Newstead then push onto Bendigo to meet you then we can stop at Echuca for some food/Butt rest then continue from there.

I'll contact you closer to the date to cement it in. Did I read somewhere we were meeting a guy from SA?

StinkPete is on the list from SA to attend as well and no doubt take a route closer to yours.

If you know roughly where you will be we could meet up at Bathurst or somewhere.  I could just keep on going around Panorama until you got there...  Quite a few roads to keep me interested around that part of the world.

Saaz, that's a big drawcard for me...I'm going to do a lap or 10 when we get to Bathurst, so I guess we'll meet you at the top of Skyline :p

Well I have finally sorted out my route.
Leaving Wed 11th to Tamworth and camp over night
Then to Dubbo and camp again Thursday night
And on to Blackheath Friday 13th with maybe a few laps at Bathhurst in between.

I am lost and haves gone to find myself
Now If I get back before I return
Please ask me to wait.

Nice... it's looking like an unofficial National OZSTOC ride from Bathhurst to Blackheath

Hey Kev, no changes mate. I Plan on leaving home around 7.30am so we should get to Bendigo around the same time as you...

What are doing on the way back, are you heading straight back or coming with us back along the coast?
