ST1100 Low Beam not working
« on: April 01, 2014, 04:53:27 PM »
Ok girls and boys, i have just had my ST1100 Roadworthied for sale, and between me checking my bike on Sunday and riding it to the bike shop, my low beam is not working, HELP! what do i look for, is it as simple as a bulb or do i look for something more sinister?

This is strange for both low bulbs to blow at the same time, as the left is more common ?? Just as a simple check give the connectors a wriggle at the back of the light.....then spray switch......then fuse and relay checks   :think1

Had both low beams go at the same time on my 1100 thought it was weird but the replacements haven't had a problem.

Most likely bulbs, could be the switch. You have parkers????  Parking lights are independent of low/high beam.

Could be both bulbs went at once, which is not common. Check the low beam fuse.  Crud on the hi/lo switch is not uncommon.
