An interesting variation of a parking brake. I use the Middleton parking brake on the ST1100 and really miss having it on the Trophy. Until you have the need for it you will wonder how you ever did without it.  Have to check whether they have one that will fit.

Nicely spotted Gavo.   I've just ordered one of these for my ST1300, as Tony makes them for both the 1100 and 1300.    Postage to Oz is included in the price.

I read on other STOC forums that some feel that the Middleton parking brake is their number 1 farkle.
So I investigated, noted that Tony Pendleton joined our STOC here in Australia.  Tony self declared he designed up the Pendleton parking brake.   I emailed Tony and he answered all my questions really fast.  I liked the concept so decided to lash out and give it a try.  It was a pleasure dealing with Tony.

It arrived quickly, fitted up real nice.  What a great little product.  I am so glad I have the parking brake.  I am fairly certain that even though you may not rate the parking brake as your #1 farkle, its going to be up there very close as either 2nd or perhaps 3rd.  I am delighted with it.

Just installed one of Tony Worrall's PENDLE Parking Brakes www.tworrall.talktalk.net    (tworrall@msn.com) to my 1997 ST1100. It was a reasonable price (From memory $45 delivered from UK) well designed, a cinch to install 5-10 minutes. With my steep and angled driveway it works very well, as it does when stopping parking on all other surfaces.  I wish I had done it earlier.

I have one now and I am looking forward to using it. It arrived quickly, was easy to fit and adjust and the design is a delight to behold. I think I'm going to love it.

Thanks so much for all the great feedback on my Pendle Parking Brake. I think an upside down neighbour of yours in New Zealand must read your OzStoc site as I have just made my 1st sale to one of them. Hope it gets there ok. Now who do I cheer for in the cricket?
Thanks again guys
Tony
