We finally have a ride planned for Sunday 8th February. But we don't have a final destination to eat just yet as it's going to depend on who will be able to attend on the day, and from which direction they'll be travelling from, but we do have a starting point!! We'll be meeting up at Sorell at a time to be posted later. We'll then be heading north on the Tasman Highway and turning off at Runnymede, from there we'll be heading through Levendale, Tunnack, Parattah, as well as numerous other little towns until we reach Oatlands, after Oatlands we'll likely be heading south to Melton Mowbrah and then perhaps on to Bothwell. After Bothwell we're not sure at this stage where we'll be heading as much will depend on who is with us at the time. I know this is very patchy but after speaking with Carsten it's all we can come up with at this stage. It would seem that Carsten, Phil, Simon and myself will be available on the day but we don't know about our northern members just yet!

I think it was Bothwell where I stopped on a ride around Tassie in 2006 - seem to remember a very nice pie from the bakery there . . .

Phil..........I hate to have to say it but I'm not going to be able to make it on the day. Carsten originally contacted me and gave me the date that would be suitable to him and for Sim, and first up I thought that it would be fine with me as well.........but, I completely forgot that it's my son Michael's 18th Birthday on Saturday 7th Feb and we're all heading out on Saturday evening for a big night out, and then I have to take Michael back to Hobart on Sunday for work commitments, Michael works for EB Games at Rosny. I contacted Carsten and told him I wouldn't be able to make it on that day but it was the only day suitable for him and Sim so we decided to leave it as it was and Carsten and Sim would decided where would be best to go considering that I would no longer be present..........so any further info for the RTE will need to come from Carsten or perhaps Sim and I'll have to look forward to the next one further down the track!

We will meet at Willows Tavern (handy for Phil) at 10 a.m. Head up the east coast, turn off and head through Parratta to Oatlands for a coffee. From then it will be weather dependant and we'll make up our mind at the time.
