Pretty sure I will be required to work. Its a major rail closure that weekend and we supply the buses that replace the trains on this particular line.

I can confirm that the hotel is still there.

Didn’t get to sample the menu because lunch isn’t till 12:00 and we couldn’t wait. So we visited the cafe which, while it looks a bit plain by city standards, dished up some very good food.

Hi, has anyone done the trip from Blackbutt to Crows Nest via the Blackbutt Crows Nest Rd, Nukku Rd, Mt Binga Rd, Blackbutt Range Rd through to Crows Nest?   I think there is some dirt sections. But doesn't look like too much.
Was thinking of going over Mt Mee then through Kilcoy on to Blackbutt and then Crows Nest in the morning and then back down through to Esk and over Mt Glorious in the afternoon on the way home.

No I haven't, but it's only 10 minutes longer to go Yarraman, Cooyar, Crows Nest. A few extra k's but all good roads and a nice ride.

Sorry we won’t be there. I was looking forward to making the trip a second time without needing the GPS. I went to the doc with a sore gut yesterday and he suspects a hernia, so I don’t want to venture too far from home until I can get it checked out and sorted.

Thanks Leo.

Near the belly button.

I’ve already got a deformed belly button as a result of major bowel surgery in ‘17. Doc says that sort of thing makes you susceptible to hernias in that region.  The pain level has retreated to a manageable level but until I get it looked at on Tuesday I’m avoiding doing anything that might aggravate it and land me in ER, which pretty much rules out anything useful I might have done this weekend. Sorry dear, I can’t mow the lawn this weekend  :beer

Sorry to hear that Steve. I had an umbilical hernia fixed years ago.

I'm also unable to make it because of Granddaughter swimming lessons.

I had a hernia and I put up with it for years...It was only when it popped out and I couldn't massage it back in and I was in excruciating pain that I finally went to the doctor.
Thankfully he was able to get it back in otherwise I was going to be carted off to Emergency!

Saw the specialist a few weeks later and he scared the crap out of me telling me how dangerous it was (as in life-threatening) to leave.
2 weeks later I was operated on and I haven't had an issue with it since... :thumbs
